What London employers say about us

We are rated 5.0 on Google from 300+ reviews, written by the people who sat our courses. Three things come up again and again: patient trainers who welcome every question, clear step-by-step explanations, and delegates who leave confident they could act in a real emergency. You can read the newest reviews below and every review on our reviews page.

Six reasons employers book us

  • One fixed price for up to 12. The session price covers the trainer, equipment, certificates and travel within London and the surrounding counties. Eight people or twelve, the figure does not change.
  • Training at your venue. Your team trains together in a room they know, with scenarios set in your own workplace, and nobody travels to a training centre.
  • Regulated qualifications. Every course leads to an FAA Level 3 Award from First Aid Awards, regulated by Ofqual and issued through Nuco Training. See our accreditation and trainers.
  • Certificates the next working day. Each delegate who passes receives their certificate by email the next working day, valid for three years.
  • Small groups, mostly practical. Sessions are capped at 12, so every delegate spends most of the day hands-on with manikins, defibrillator trainers and dressings.
  • Weekdays, Saturdays and evenings. We train when your team can, including evening and weekend sessions.

Organisations we have trained

Our case studies follow real bookings from enquiry to certificates:

  • Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport: 12 hotel staff trained at the hotel, under four weeks from enquiry.
  • Eldon Housing Association in Croydon: two groups trained, 24 staff in total.
  • Arrival: nine people trained at a partner’s offices in the City of London.
  • Mimar: an office team in Palmers Green trained on a Saturday.
  • Latymer All Saints CofE Primary School in Edmonton: 10 staff requalified in First Aid at Work over half term.

Next Thing Education Camps in Hemel Hempstead has booked us three times for its camp staff.

Who trains your team

Our trainers are Jennifer Sani, our Lead Trainer, and Joseph Sani. Both hold the Level 3 Award in Education and Training and current Level 3 First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid qualifications, and both are fully DBS checked. Jennifer also holds a safeguarding qualification. Amber Training holds public liability insurance of £1 million, professional indemnity and employers’ liability insurance.

How to compare first aid training providers

Since 2013, HSE no longer approves first aid training providers, so the employer chooses. Whoever you book, check these five things:

  1. The qualification is regulated: the full title names an awarding organisation and appears on the Ofqual register.
  2. The quote is the total for your group, with certificates, equipment and travel included.
  3. Practical skills are assessed in person, not online only.
  4. The trainer is qualified to teach and assess first aid.
  5. Recent reviews from people who sat the course.

Our guide to choosing a first aid training provider in London goes through each point.
