First aid training case studies from London employers
Four organisations, four different set-ups: a hotel, a housing association, an office team and an early careers organisation. Each one booked a private session for their own team, delivered by our trainer at a place that suited them. Here is how each was arranged, from first enquiry to certificates.
A one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course for Arrival, hosted at a partner's offices in the City of London
Arrival (Arrival Education Ltd) is an early careers and social impact organisation based in Covent Garden. Their Head of Early Careers and Social Impact programmes requested a quote through our website form on 25 September 2026, for a group of five to eight people.
Before booking, they asked two sensible questions. Does the six hours include breaks? (No: six hours is teaching time within a full day.) And is anything added to the price? (No: our prices are final and all-inclusive.) With those answered, the booking went ahead, and the final group grew to nine.
The course ran on 23 October 2026, from 09:30 to 16:30, with lunch from 12:30 to 13:30. A partner organisation hosted the session at its offices in the City of London, and the group was signed in through the building's security. Our trainer delivered the full course there.
Certificates were emailed on Monday 26 October 2026 to everyone who completed the assessments.
A Saturday course in Mimar's own office in Palmers Green, Enfield
Mimar (Mimar UK Ltd) has an office in Palmers Green, N13, in the London Borough of Enfield. Their Office Manager requested a quote through our website form on 21 September 2026 for five to eight staff, and booked the next day.
The first date requested was 26 September. The session then moved to Saturday 10 October 2026. We are based in Enfield ourselves, so this was training close to home for us.
Our trainer delivered the course from 09:00 to 15:00 in Mimar's own office, using the office TV for the slides. The team trained in the space they work in every day.
Nine staff were trained and certificated, with certificates issued the next day, 11 October 2026. Afterwards, the Office Manager let us know that the team had really enjoyed the training and found it very useful.
Two groups trained on the same day in central Croydon for Eldon Housing Association
Eldon Housing Association is a social housing provider whose HR team is based in Croydon. Their Head of People and Resources emailed us on 17 December 2025, asking for prices and availability for on-site Emergency First Aid at Work in central Croydon after Christmas.
The booking started with 12 delegates and grew to 24. Rather than spread the training over several weeks, we ran two groups of 12 on the same day: 17 February 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00. Each group stayed within our maximum of 12 per session.
In early February, their original venue changed. The session moved to a hotel conference venue in central Croydon, and we delivered the course there on the planned date.
Each delegate who completed the course received the FAA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, issued through Nuco Training and valid for three years. Certificates for both groups were sent after the course, and the HR team thanked us on 24 February 2026.
Emergency First Aid at Work for 12 hotel staff at Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport
Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is a hotel near Heathrow (UB7). The hotel requested a quote through our website form on 26 June 2026 for Emergency First Aid at Work for 12 staff.
An agreement was signed before the course. Our trainer delivered the one-day course at the hotel on 21 July 2026, starting at 09:30, so staff trained on site.
Emergency First Aid at Work leads to the FAA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, issued through Nuco Training, Ofqual-regulated and valid for three years. Certificates were emailed after the course. When the hotel's email security blocked the zip file, we resent the certificates as individual PDFs instead.
Their booking contact passed on their thanks and kept our details for future training.
