Refund Policy for Amber Training Ltd

At Amber Training Ltd, we want you to be confident in booking our First Aid and Safeguarding training courses. This Refund Policy outlines our rules for cancellations and refunds to ensure clarity and fairness. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Cancellations by You

  • Cancellation Notice: You must notify us at least 5 working days before the training date to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds for Early Cancellation:
    If you cancel 5 or more working days before the training date, we will refund your payment minus the 25% deposit, which is non-refundable.
  • Late Cancellation Fee:
    If you cancel less than 5 working days before the training date, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total course fee. The remaining 50% (if paid) will be refunded.
  • Bookings Within 7 Days of Training:
    If you book a course within 7 days of the training date, full payment is required upfront. If you cancel, the above cancellation fees apply (50% fee for cancellations within 5 working days; otherwise, full payment minus the 25% deposit is refunded).

2. Cancellations by Us

We may need to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., trainer illness, low attendance, or venue issues).

If we cancel, you can choose:

  • A full refund, including the 25% deposit; or
  • To reschedule your booking for a later date at no additional cost.

We will notify you of any cancellation or rescheduling as soon as possible via email or phone.

3. How to Request a Refund

  • Email us at support@ambertraining.co.uk with the subject “Refund Request”.
  • Include your booking details (e.g., course name, date, and booking reference).
  • We will process your refund within 10 working days, using the same payment method you used to book (e.g., bank transfer, credit/debit card).

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • The 25% deposit is non-refundable in all cases, as it secures your booking and covers administrative costs.
  • If a participant fails to attend the course without prior cancellation notice, no refund will be issued.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at ambertraining.co.uk/refund-policy. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you via email or a notice on our website.
