Hertfordshire's economy follows its motorways and rail lines. Watford, Hemel Hempstead and the M1 corridor have large business parks and distribution centres. Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and Stevenage on the A1(M) are home to science, engineering and head office sites. Borehamwood has film and television studios, and the Lea Valley around Cheshunt has growers, warehouses and trade businesses.

Across the county there are also hundreds of schools, nurseries, holiday camps and care homes, many of them small organisations that cannot spare staff to travel to a training centre. We bring the course to them.

Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Potters Bar and Borehamwood are minutes from our North London base. St Albans, Watford, Hatfield and Hertford are well within reach for a morning start, and we bring the manikins, defibrillator trainers and dressings with us.

Who we typically train in Hertfordshire

A typical Hertfordshire booking is a children's camp or nursery training its staff in paediatric first aid before the holidays, or an office or warehouse in Watford, Hemel Hempstead or Welwyn training up to 12 staff in one session.

Paediatric first aid for camps, clubs and nurseries

Holiday camps, sports clubs and nurseries look after other people's children, so parents expect staff to be trained for children's emergencies, and Ofsted requires it in registered early years settings. Emergency Paediatric First Aid is a one-day course. The full Paediatric First Aid qualification is two days and meets the Early Years Foundation Stage requirement for nursery and early years staff.

London prices, no travel charge

Hertfordshire is one of the counties around London that our prices already cover. You pay the session price and nothing for travel.

Children's activity providers

Camps, clubs and nurseries train staff in Emergency Paediatric or full Paediatric First Aid before their busy season.

Business parks and warehouses

Hertfordshire's business parks and distribution sites along the M1, M25 and A1(M) get trainers who understand higher-risk sites.

Recommended courses
